Minutes of The third All India Conference of SNATTA held at Bhopal (M.P) On dated 21st dec2008 the meeting started at around 10:30hrs in the morning with delegates from all over India taking their respective seats and enchanting the slogan of SNATTA Zindabad. The onus of handling the stage and microphone was once again on Mr Manish Samadhiya, who had impressed one and all with his manner and management. First of all he invited Mr Neeraj Kaushik, All India treasurer of SNATTA to present before the audience the account statement for the past year. Then the central coordinators or their representatives of different circles starting from Mr Tajinder Pal Singh of Punjab were invited to brief the gathering about the motive of SNATTA and future course of action. Almost everyone was full of praise for the organizing team of Bhopal SSA, MP circle and the efforts put up by the CHQ during the last 2 years. The gathering supported with a roar of applause. High point of that part of the day was that, the state of J&K was represented by a new recruited TTA of 2008 batch which not only proved SNATTA’s reach but also pointed out how important is it for us to gather under one umbrella to safeguard our interests when so many young people’s aspirations are associated with us. Then at around 11:45 hrs the GS took center stage. First of all he described in short about the achievements of SNATTA and about the meetings with the general secretaries of both the major Unions one of whom we needed to support in the forthcoming elections. Then he declared to start the open session. TTAs from every circle asked genuine doubts, raised questions about SNATTA and the incumbent recognized unions activities and suggested many points about the improvement of SNATTA which to be added to main agenda. Mr Dhiraj Chaudhary, with his usual Haryanvi ascent handled all of them with patience, tried to clear all doubts, tried to prove each step SNATTA had taken since it’s inception and taken note of all genuine demands. The manner he seems comfortable with the issues related to TTAs showed that miracles can happen if a person with an honest and straight forward approach is at the helm of affairs. Some highlights of the open session are enumerated below.
There were so many other issues handled by the GS. But eventually before proceeding for lunch the central coordinators were handed over election slips to point out which union we should support this time round. After lunch the election slips were collected and the open session restarted. After that the meeting of the central coordinators was conveyed and they assembled to decide the future leaders of SNATTA as all the three incumbents are now selected as JTO and ready to step down willingly. In their meeting it was unanimously decided to continue with the present leadership but deputies were to be appointed in order to ensure redundancy. In this meeting the following changes were effected-
Mr Manish Samadhiya (MP)- All India Vice President, Mr Dhamendra Verma (Gujurat)- All India Dy.GS Mr Sachin Bhatt (Punjab)- All India Asstt Tresurer. After that it was time for the announcement of results. First of all it was announced that majority of circles has decided to go with BSNLEU this time and then the names of newly elected office bearers were announced. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by the GS.
